What a great time we just had in Germany with Kristi Walker! Seven days in another country is never long enough. It seems we had just enough time to figure out what we should do next time we're there! We arrived at Tegel International Airport in Berlin, Germany on Saturday the 24th of February at 9 am.
Kristi was anxious to go sight-seeing as the skies were crystal clear. (We found out later how rare that is in Germany this time of year!) She put us on a bus tour of Berlin immediately and we saw so much in the first 3 hours of being in the country. Later that evening, her team mates fed us dinner and took us to IKEA. We were able to get new salt and pepper mills, as ours were accidentally destroyed.
The next day, we spent relaxing and with Kristi at her church. And, on Monday, we rented a car in Potsdam, outside of Berlin. We drove from Berlin and saw Wittenburg on our way to Bavaria. That night we stayed at the Best Western, Hotel Holledau and on Tuesday we drove a little way south to Munich. It was amazing. The whole experience was a bit surreal yet overwhelmingly unforgettable.

Welcome home! I have been thinking of you both..praying (yes, praying so dont fall out of your chair)for your safe travels. Hope you had a great time!
PS..I noticed its quite cold in the east..if you were here you'd be in 80* weather tomorrow! Can you believe that!? By Monday it's gonna be almost 90*..HOT DOG!!!!
