Please Pray

Many of you know that Matt's family has a history with polycystic kidney disease. His father has been having a rough time lately with his health and we all believed it to be related to kidney complications. Saturday he was taken to the hospital with a blood clot in his leg. After a CAT Scan today, they believe that his urgent & primary health concern is cancer of the lower lung and abdomen.

What we believed would be a surgery for relieving the blood clot is actually needing to be a biopsy to determine if the CAT Scan is being read correctly. Matt left for NH tonight and will be in NH with his parents for the biopsy tomorrow am. If cancer is the diagnosis, the only way to treat it is with chemo.

PRAISE THE LORD that Matt has a peace that passes understanding. His mom & dad are also being able to rest in Christ, albeit with spurts of emotional stress. I'm staying behind in Virginia for now and have the ability to join the family easily if necessary. Everyone has been more than helpful & super generous. I'll post an update when the biopsy results are in.

Please pray for the family and the conditions that surround this situation. I'll keep everyone updated as much as possible, please just check our blog for now, it's easier for me!
